Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)

Responsible for: Access of people and goods to and from Canada.

 

Canada Post

A Crown Corporation -Canada's primary postal operator.

 

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

Responsible for: Administering federal electoral events (An independent, non-partisan agency of Parliament)

 

Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC)

Canada's central repository for information about fraud and provides fraud reporting services.

 

Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC)

Provides free, confidential ways for Canadians to understand their rights, resolve disputes, and seek redress without lengthy hearings. Advocates for an inclusive, equitable Canada and holds the country accountable to its human rights commitments.

 

Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC)

Responsible for: Consumer protection and regulation enforcement to the broadcasting and telecommunications industries in Canada.

 

Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA)

Responsible for: The national transportation system, the human rights of individuals with disabilities to an accessible transportation network and the protection for air passengers. (Independent office)

 

Civilian Review and Complaints Board for the RCMP

Responsible for: Receiving and investigating complaints about the conduct of RCMP officers.

 

Commissioner of Canada Elections

Responsible for: Ensuring compliance with, and enforcement of, the Canada Elections Act and the Referendum Act. (Independent office)

 

Competition Bureau

Responsible for: Protecting and promoting competition for the benefit of Canadian consumers and businesses.

 

Correctional Services Canada

Responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community. Also provides victim services.

 

Elections Canada

Responsible for: Administering federal electoral events, including elections, by-elections, and referendums.

Rsponsible for improving conditions of investment, innovation performance, and Canada's global trade.

 

Natural Resouces Canada

Responsible for: Developing policies and programs for natural resources development and sustainability.

 

Office for Client Satisfaction

Responsible for: Receiving, reviewing and responding to compliments or complaints received about service delivery provided by Service Canada.

 

Office of the Veterans Ombudsman

Responsible for: Receiving and investigating complaints from the public if they feel they have been treated unfairly by Veterans Affairs Canada.

 

Parks Canada

Responsible for protecting and presenting Canada's natural and cultural heritage, including national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas.

 

Parole Board of Canada

Responsible for: Quality conditional release and record suspension decisions, and clemency recommendations as part of the Canadian criminal justice system. (Independent administrative tribunal)

 

Public Health Agency of Canada
