Provides financial assistance for eligible applicants whose primary residence does not have access to high-speed internet (a 50Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload service). The funding covers one-time costs for internet service providers to complete work that enables access to new or improved internet service.
Approved applicants will receive financial assistance of up to $1,000 total, including a maximum of $350 (HST included) for installation by a registered business.

Households earning below a set annual income may be eligible for financial assistance of up to $1200 per calendar year toward their home heating costs from oil, wood, wood pellets, propane or electrical heat.
Does not issue a rebate on heating that has already been ordered/paid. Program only pays for heating arranged by the Salvation Army.
