Family and Peer Support Program Provided by: Missing Children Society of Canada - AKA: MCSC

Provides specialized and comprehensive support for families with missing children through one-on-one support, group sessions, peer-led conversations, and seminars.

The program can help by:

Providing support through the reunification process
Helping to identify counselling and practical resources in families' local areas
Helping to develop coping skills to deal with the stress associated with an investigation
Helping to develop strategies for maintaining families' privacy and confidentiality

Can connect with families through the communications channels that are most convenient and preferred. Options include phone, Skype, and email.

Family Law - Child Focused Parenting Plan Mediation Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Justice and Public Safety - AKA: JPS

Assists families experiencing separation and divorce with developing a comprehensive parenting plan to give co-parents a roadmap for what parenting is going to look like between the two homes.

The mediator is a neutral third party to who can help parents focus on the best interests of their children to create a parenting plan that helps transition children between homes easily and without conflict.
