A week long sleep-away summer camp for children and youth in the Maritimes who are living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Campers have the opportunity to:

  • Build friendships with peers who experience the same health challenges
  • Learn about their disease and discuss coping skills
  • Enhance their self-confidence
  • Gain a sense of independence

Application opens as early as the beginning of February.

Offers a kids camp and family camp for kids living with cancer or in remission. Camps are medically supervised recreational-based camps and are one-week long. The camp is located in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. Free transportation by bus is provided or parents/guardians can drive their kids directly to the camp. Campers attending the kids camp can bring a guest.
