Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission

AKA: IRAC
The Commission administers a number of provincial statutes dealing with economic regulation and hears appeals under provincial planning, tax, environmental and residential rental property legislation.

The Commission regulates the operations of Maritime Electric Company, petroleum pricing and certain water and waste water utilities and and operates under the authority of the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission Act.
