Note: Requests for retroactive financial coverage of surgeries completed without prior approval will not be considered.

Provides health care services such as:

• Home and community care supports
• Substance abuse counselling
• Access to fitness and maternal health professionals
• Child and family wellness programming
• Health and nutrition programs, including services aimed at those with diabetes
• Individual and group wellness programs to help with day to day life skills and help with referrals to other programs that can help
• Gender-Affirming Care referrals
• Drop-in Health Clinic

Supports 2SLGBTQQIA+ (2S+) individuals living off-reserve on Epekwitk / PEI by promoting mental well-being, understanding of issues, and reducing gender-based violence within the community. The program includes:

• Monthly group meetings with cultural teachings
• Quarterly land-based teachings and healing circles led by Elders
• Public outreach sessions
• Cultural retreats highlighting the historic role of 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples in Indigenous culture and addressing current issues
