One-on-one tutoring for children with disabilities who would otherwise lose school and literacy skills over the summer months. The tutoring is tailored to meet the needs of the student and in consultation with teachers and resource staff. Tutors come to the child's home but if not possible, they can meet the child somewhere in their community. Tutoring is generally for one to three hours per week and lasts for eight weeks.
Application closes at the end of May each year.

Provides multiple scholarships and bursaries to support individuals who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision to cover post-secondary studies. By Submitting an application, applicants will automatically considered for any eligible scholarships based on the criteria.

Delivers library materials to individuals who are not able to visit a library in person. Items are chosen by library staff, and delivered to participants every six weeks.

Note: A similar delivery service is available for Community Care Facilities. Facility administration must contact PEI Public Library Service Headquarters to register for this program on behalf of residents.

One-on-one math tutoring for students with diagnosed or undiagnosed learning disabilities, including dyscalculia or general difficulty with math. The program is tailored to each student's individual math ability level.

Provides an Equine Assisted Learning Program that is run by a certified equine assisted learning facilitator.

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is a therapeutic and educational approach that involves interactions between humans and horses to facilitate personal growth and learning.

Participants engage in objectively driven exercises that are developed to encourage self-esteem and learning valuable life skills through hands-on experiences while working with horses.

Provides operational reading, writing, and math skills according to individualized developmental levels. This component directly correlates with community inclusion and volunteer opportunities. Individuals could practice skills in-house prior to going out into the community.
