Provides a 10-week seated fitness program to improve the emotional well being and physical fitness for people with mobility disorders and neuromuscular disorder. The program is offered in Charlottetown, Summerside, Montague and Tyne Valley.

An Online breathing program is available upon registration.

Provides in-person and online social event for individuals with sight loss, their family and friends. In-person gatherings are hosted in Charlottetown, Summerside and Montague. Meeting location and time vary. In-person activities may include:

Provides a free six-week virtual educational program to individuals with chronic diseases to improve heart health, strength, balance, and flexibility. The program is ideal for beginners and will focus on progressive, low to moderate intensity exercise weekly with with a clinical exercise physiologist, Katie Beck. Program includes:
  • Full initial health screening
  • Education on how exercise can help with specific health conditions and any considerations for those on medication and treatment
  • Exercise suggestions that are progressive and tailored to meet individual physical ability. A resistance band will be mailed to home and is the only equipment needed
  • Intention setting sessions, movement challenges, and recreational aspect (trivia, etc.) along the way
  • Introduction to the Graduate Program which will be available after the introductory program has been completed

Offers residential summer camps designed for children living with type 1 diabetes. Two camps options:

  • Overnight camp for youths, ages 13-15 years at Camp Morton
  • Lion Maxwell Family Camp for children and youth, their parents, siblings, and caregivers
  • Two week leadership camps for ages 16-17 years

Camps are located in Nova Scotia. Campers are supervised by program and medical staff 24 hours a day.
