A basic support service that helps women and gender-diverse Islanders find programs and services on a wide range of topics including:
  • Legal matters
  • Employment
  • Abuse
  • Health
  • Children

Provides an in-person peer support group for female identifying older adults to build connections to reduce social isolation during the fall and winter. Meeting topics include exploring gender, leadership, shared experience, and aging. The meetings are held twice a month in Charlottetown.

Provides a 14-week career exploration and college preparation program for women and gender-diverse individuals. The program includes:
  • Exposure to trades and technology careers
  • Essential skills and provides career exploration and personal development
  • Opportunities with Holland College, training with the Construction Association of PEI, meet mentors, and tour with industry employers
  • Life skills and labor market research, resumes, interviews, math and team building
  • Includes all materials
Participants are able to keep income support and maintain Employment Insurance (EI) while enrolled in the program. Child care and travel subsidies (where applicable) are available.
