Day Program - Life Enrichment Provided by: Tremploy

A program for adults with intellectual disabilities to participate in teaching/training sessions and activities that enhance their well-being, help them be involved and have fun. Activities may include but are not limited to:

Social interactions: armchair travel, live entertainment, guest speakers, music, themed social events
Community integration: visiting cultural and tourist sites, attending community events, accessing community based entertainment and recreational activities
Motor skills: crafts, board games, baking, dancercise, flex and stretch, recipe book making, etc.

Dance Classes with Parkinson's Provided by: Dancing with Parkinson's Canada

Provides in-person and online dance classes for individuals living with Parkinson's disease and others who would benefit from the program. Caregivers, family and friends are also welcome.

Community Engagement - Newcomer Women's Group Provided by: Immigrant and Refugee Services Association Prince Edward Island - AKA: IRSA; IRSAPEI; PEIANC (former name); PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada (former name) ; Immigrant & Refugee Services Association

Provides an opportunity for immigrant women to be social, make friends, practice language skills, and learn more about Canadian culture and other cultures. Group is hosted by female IRSA staff and volunteers, and activities are held from once per month (summer) to one or more times per week during much of the winter. Activities may include:

Potluck meals
Health and fitness activities like dance, hiking, kayaking, Zumba
Cooking
Arts and crafts
Attending performances
Info sessions and discussion groups
