Provides a range of services for adults with intellectual disabilities that are person-centered and designed to promote growth, independence, inclusion and choice to clients.

Opportunities for individuals, families and/or couples to open their home to an adult with an intellectual disability to live together in a warm, home-like family atmosphere while enhancing community involvement and inclusion.

Compensation is established through the province's Financial Assistance Program and the AccessAbility Supports Program according to their eligibility and rates.

The organization monitors the individuals placed with Associate Families through follow-up visits, outreach and support.

Group homes and small option homes for individuals who may require personal care and supports with skills development and daily activities. Located across Queens County, small options homes have up to three residents and group homes have four to six residents. The homes offer:

  • Social and community involvement
  • A home for residents to call their own
  • Individualized plans that support each resident to reach their daily goals

Helps people with intellectual disabilities find suitable, independent housing and help to navigate and connect to key community resources.

Staff make home visits to assist clients who require support for daily living tasks such as grocery shopping, life skills, coordination services, and more.

Fully equipped housing complex with seven units that provide supervised support for high functioning adults with intellectual disabilities.

Units are shared between two tenants and have two bedrooms, a bathroom, and kitchenette. There is a shared full kitchen, common dining area and living room. Tenants share chores such as meal planning, cooking and cleaning up.

Person-Centered Plans provide life skills and employment training and residents are supported to allow for an independent, secure lifestyle.

Provides 24-hour a day staffed respite for people with intellectual abilities. Designed to give clients a secure home environment during their respite care period.

Respite may also be used as an acclimation process for a prospective resident.
