Offers up to 12 months of residential treatment for those struggling with addiction or mental health challenges. Offers a holistic three-phased approach:
  • Orientation: Establishing a plan of care
  • Active Treatment: A combination of recovery programming, peer support meetings, activities, and learning life skills
  • Community Integration: Rebuilding family connections and preparing to transition back to the community

Service Description

Offers up to 12 months of residential treatment for those struggling with addiction or mental health challenges. Offers a holistic three-phased approach:

  • Community Integration: Rebuilding family connections and preparing to transition back to the community
Products specifications
Eligibility:Adults ages 18 years and older who are struggling with mental health and/or addictions and also meet the following criteria:
-Have a valid PEI Health Card
-Identify as someone who is experiencing substance use disorder
-Not be at risk of severe withdrawal complications
-Be appropriately detoxed
-Be physically and psychiatrically stable
-Have previous experience in treatment programming for mental health and addictions
-Be abstinent, with the exception of prescribed medication from a medical professional
-Be reachable by phone or email
-Be motivated and committed to participate in scheduled programming five days per week
-be ready, able, and willing to live with others respectfully in communal living
-Be prepared to phone our office every two weeks from the date of application on Mondays between 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm to continue to express your interest
-Understand that if we do not hear from you within 30 days, your application will go to an inactive list
-Must be engaged with a community-based addiction counselor upon admission
