Description:
Offers up to 12 months of residential treatment for those struggling with addiction or mental health challenges. Offers a holistic three-phased approach:
Orientation: Establishing a plan of care
Active Treatment: A combination of recovery programming, peer support meetings, activities, and learning life skills
Community Integration: Rebuilding family connections and preparing to transition back to the community
Eligibility:
Adults ages 18 years and older who are struggling with mental health and/or addictions and also meet the following criteria:
-Have a valid PEI Health Card
-Identify as someone who is experiencing substance use disorder
-Not be at risk of severe withdrawal complications
-Be appropriately detoxed
-Be physically and psychiatrically stable
-Have previous experience in treatment programming for mental health and addictions
-Be abstinent, with the exception of prescribed medication from a medical professional
-Be reachable by phone or email
-Be motivated and committed to participate in scheduled programming five days per week
-be ready, able, and willing to live with others respectfully in communal living
-Be prepared to phone our office every two weeks from the date of application on Mondays between 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm to continue to express your interest
-Understand that if we do not hear from you within 30 days, your application will go to an inactive list
-Must be engaged with a community-based addiction counselor upon admission

Apply online * Must call the main office every two weeks from the date of your application on Mondays between 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm to keep your application on the active waitlist
