Provides free flights to low-income Canadians who must travel to medical care that does not exist in their communities. Free flights are also available for someone to accompany a patient under 18 years. If medically necessary, a free flight may be available for someone to accompany a patient over 19 years. Services include:

Free hotel/lodge accommodations

Hotel accommodations and meal vouchers are also available to applicants who are driving 80km or more from home for the medical appointment.

Description:	Provides free flights to low-income Canadians who must travel to medical care that does not exist in their communities. Eligibility:	Individuals who in financial need and cannot afford the cost of an airline ticket to receive medical care * Have a confirmed healthcare appointment that is covered by their provincial healthcare plan * Be medically cleared by their physician to fly on a commercial plane
Fees:	No fees
How to Access:	Book a medical appointment first, then make a flight request online or by telephone
Documents Required:	Completed online application form * Information on the incomes of all members of the applicant's household * Email address * A government-issued photo ID for all travellers * The date and time of a confirmed medical appointment * Referring doctor's contact information
