Trained volunteers provide one-on-one telephone and internet based peer support for people with a diagnosis of MS and their caregivers. There are two options, ONECALL and EXTENDED.

ONECALL is for individuals who have a specific question or issue related to MS.

EXTENDED is for individuals looking for a listening ear from someone who understands and has lived experience with MS. Duration is six months and the time to be matched can take up to 6 weeks.

Provides six free online therapy sessions for adults with Intellectual Disability and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder experiencing mental health concerns and/or in need of behavior support.

This program is in partnership with and delivered by Your Life Design.

Provides a peer support program that matches individuals with blood cancer to trained volunteers who have experienced blood cancer. These volunteers offer personalized support based on age, diagnosis, gender, or specific concerns, providing understanding and reassurance by sharing their own experiences.

Provides education sessions to help people living with dementia, and their family members and friends to live as well as possible with the disease. Participants have opportunities to learn and share with others who are affected by dementia. The sessions include:

  • A comprehensive overview of Alzheimer's and other dementias
  • Skills needed to provide day to day care
  • How to understand changes in behaviour, personality, and communication
  • Coping strategies
  • Available resources and support
  • Care in the later stages

Provides support and services to families of people living with intellectual disabilities. Includes:
  • Staff visits families to provide information and assess individual needs
  • Helping connect families to services and supports in the community
  • Parent support networks and parent-to-parent connections
  • Assisting families in planning meetings with supports such as schools, government and non-profit agencies
  • Helping families work together with professionals involved in their loved one's care
