Supports 2SLGBTQQIA+ (2S+) individuals living off-reserve on Epekwitk / PEI by promoting mental well-being, understanding of issues, and reducing gender-based violence within the community. The program includes:

  • Monthly group meetings with cultural teachings
  • Quarterly land-based teachings and healing circles led by Elders
  • Public outreach sessions
  • Cultural retreats highlighting the historic role of 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples in Indigenous culture and addressing current issues
