Aims to resolve a wide range of complaints about products and services offered in the telecommunications (telecom) sector, including:
Home phone
Long distance phone services (including prepaid calling cards)
Subscription TV services provided by cable, Internet Protocol television (IPTV), and national satellite direct-to-home (DTH) TV service providers
Wireless phone services (including voice, data, and text)
Wired and wireless internet access services
White page directories, directory assistance, and operator services
Other unregulated retail telecom services (other than those that are excluded from their mandate)
Assists with most types of problems that can arise between a consumer and a service provider, including:
Compliance with contract terms and commitments
(but not the contract terms themselves)
Billing disputes and errors
(but not the price of the service itself)
Service delivery complaints
: Installation, repair or disconnection of service * Quality of the service or unreasonable interruptions to service * Transfers of service from one provider to another
Credit management

: Security deposits * Payment arrangements * Collections treatment of customer accounts

Eligibility:
Telecommunications:
-Consumers or small business owners (monthly bill is normally under $2,500) who have been unable to resolve a dispute with their service provider
-Accepts complaints about unregulated local phone (including white page directories, operator services, or directory assistance), long distance, wireless, internet, or any combination of these
-They may be able to assist you even if your service provider does not currently participate in the CCTS
TV:
-Consumers (but not small business TV customers) with TV complaints who have been unable to resolve a dispute with their service provider
-Accepts TV complaints only when the facts leading up to the complaint occurred on or after September 1, 2017
-Your TV service provider must participate in the CCTS (some service providers are not required to do so)
