AKA: Lennox Island Women's Shelter
A shelter for women in distress, women without housing, or for young mothers who need extra support. Shelter residents also have access to support services.

Provides shelter accommodation for women in Epekwitk / PEI. Residents have access to:

  • Employment services
  • Parenting programs
  • Life skills programs
  • Services of the Lennox Island Health Centre
  • A safe and supportive housing environment

Emergency stays at the shelter can be up to six weeks. Indigenous women who have left a violent relationship or who find themselves in a homeless situation can apply and be assessed for a one year stay at the shelter.

Transportation can be arranged.
