Workers provide ongoing support to parents through home visits Island-wide. Services during visits include:

  • Activities to help with baby's growth and development
  • Sharing information on topics like health, safety, nutrition, and language
  • Support for postpartum and parental mental health
  • Support to achieve personal goals
  • Connections to other community resources for families

A postnatal group for parents to learn about various parenting topics such as caring for baby, developmental milestones and safety.

Provides parent/caregiver information sessions on a variety of topics. Includes:

  • Nutrition
  • Everyday parenting challenges and positive discipline
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing in children
  • Communication skills

Childcare and supper are provided onsite during sessions.

An early childhood development program that is offered to support children in developing skills and abilities to best prepare them for success at school, while at the same time providing information and support to parents to maximize their child's potential at school.

Provides an eight-week prenatal support group to learn about pregnancy, labour and birth. In-person meetings are held in Charlottetown and virtual option is also available.
