Examples of ailments include:

  • Testing and treatment for strep throat
  • Sore throat
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Heart burn
  • Minor joint pain
  • Thrush
  • Skin conditions like eczema and acne and more

Prescriptions: Pharmacists can assess and prescribe renewals of medications that were originally prescribed by a physician or nurse practitioner. Several factors are considered to determine if a medication is eligible for renewal by a pharmacist including the type of medication, reason for use, and monitoring required.
