Dogs who have retired or have been disqualified from programs due to temperament and/or health reasons are available to be adopted. Depending on when the dogs were disqualified, they may have some dog guide training. The dogs:
Have been raised in volunteer foster homes where they have been socialized and house trained
Are spayed or neutered and vaccinations are updated
Provides an opportunity for older adults to adapt/foster older dogs who have lost a human companion due to a residence change, or who are left without a caregiver due to illness or death.
