In partnership with the PEI government and Health PEI, travel subsidies are provided for eligible PEI residents who must travel out-of-province for their medical appointments. Services include:

Confederation Bridge Toll Pass
Northumberland Ferry Pass
$100 Esso Gas Card for patients who receive the bridge or ferry pass
Hotel Accommodations
Uber eats (offered to patients who are receiving a hotel stay through Hope Air)

Eligibility:	To be eligible, Islanders must: -Be experiencing financial insecurity -Be travelling to a confirmed specialist appointment covered under the provincial health plan -Have an Out-of-Province approval letter from Health PEI (See website for full details on obtaining this letter)
Fees:	No fees
How to Access:	Submit online application on Hope Air website if possible obtain an approval letter of out-of-province medical care from Health PEI (Your PEI physician or nurse practitioner will request approval for your out-of-province health service) and attached to the application * Your application will be on hold until an approval letter of out-of-province medical care from Health PEI is received
Documents Required:	Out-of-province medical approval letter from Health PEI * Patient's doctor must submit the letter request on the patient's behalf * Valid PEI Health Card * Email address * Income information of the members of the household
