Description:	A benefit available to low-income individuals aged 60-64 years who are the spouse or common-law partner of a Guaranteed Income Supplement recipient.
Eligibility:	Individuals must: -Be ages 60-64 years (includes the month of your 65th birthday) -Have a spouse or common-law partner is eligible for the GIS -Be a Canadian citizen or a legal resident -Have an annual combined income is less than the maximum allowable annual threshold Applicants should apply for the Allowance 6 to 11 months before you turn 60 If you receive the Allowance and your spouse or partner passes away, you'll automatically switch to the Allowance for the Survivor

How to Access:	Apply online, drop off the application form at the nearest Service Canada office, or mail it to: PO Box 8000, Station Central, Charlottetown, PE C1A 8K1
