An instant rebate of $500 is available for e-bike purchases that retail from $1,200 (before tax). Rebate is applied at the cash register. One rebate is eligible for residents and up to five rebates for organizations per calendar year.
E-bikes must meet the following conditions:
Electric motor must be 500 watts or less
Two or three wheels that touch the ground
Maximum speed of 32 km/h
Maximum weight of 120kg
All other regulations as set out by
the Highway Safety Act

PEI residents * Non-profits, First Nations, businesses and public agencies (excludes provincial, crown, and federal government agencies) registered or operating in PEI
