Provides information on the Federal Child Support Guidelines and assistance to individuals who do not have lawyers to complete the required court documents to apply for child support for the first time or to change an existing child support order. Assisted areas include:
Applying for child support orders
Changing an existing child support order or agreement
Creating special expense agreements that can be enforced by the PEI Maintenance Enforcement Program (MEP)
Applying for Inter-jurisdictional Support Orders
Annual recalculation of child support if you have a child support order or agreement that provides for yearly recalculation

Eligibility:
Must meet all of the following conditions:
-Residents of PEI who are applying for child support for the first time or who wish to change an existing child support agreement
-Parents have agreed on parenting time
-A party who does not have a lawyer
