Eligible applicants may receive up to 100% cost coverage for out-of-pocket expenses associated with purchasing approved ostomy supplies. Maximum coverage available between July 1-June 30 each year is $2,400 and is calculated based on household income.

Skin wafers
Ostomy pouches
Adhesive removers
Skin barrier wipes
Stoma powders, pastes and barrier rings
Ostomy belts

Products specifications

Description:	Eligible applicants may receive up to 100% cost coverage for out-of-pocket expenses associated with purchasing approved ostomy supplies. Maximum coverage available between July 1-June 30 each year is $2,400 and is calculated based on household income. Eligibility:	PEI residents who have a permanent ostomy and are registered with the Ostomy Supplies Program * Must have filed most recent income tax return in PEI Note: Applicants with private insurance may apply. Once accepted into program, claims must go through private insurance before being submitted to Provincial Ostomy Supplies Program
Fees:	Yes * Applicants must be able to pay their portion of costs for ostomy supplies
How to Access:	A health professional must complete and submit the Health Care Provider Ostomy Supplies Program Registration Form, available online * Complete the Ostomy Supplies Program Patient Application Form, available online * Applicants with private insurance must first submit a claim through their insurance
Documents Required:	Valid PEI Health Card * Completed application forms * Must have filed most recent income tax
